Our Policy

To be on one of our Mothers waiting lists requires you to send a $100 non-refundable, but transferable deposit (meaning if there isn't a pup you like in the litter you are on then you can wait for the next available open spot on a future litter). Once you have filled out an application simply e-mail it to us and we and we will return our answer in
1-4 days time depending on how busy we are....we try our best not to keep you waiting long. Once you are approved then your deposit needs to be received by us no longer then one week after approval. This is so we know your intentions are to go with one of our pups and if not then we can approve another family for this spot.
Starting in 2008 we ask that families wanting a full tail go onto a waiting list where they will have first pick...this may mean waiting for up to a year since our waiting lists fill fast. Full tails require a $250 deposit. You can go to our homepage and click onto our Expecting link to see which waiting lists have an available first pick.
How Our Waiting List  Works

Families request to go on one of our Mother's waiting list after they have sent in an application and it has been approved. On each of our waiting list families are placed in order of when we recieved their deposit. These lists can be found on our "Expecting page". If an upcoming Mothers list reads full then this means we are not accepting any more requests for that litter. Once on a Mother's waiting list your name will appear in order of when we received your deposit. When you see that the family ahead of you had picked their pup then it is your turn to decide which one you like. Pick from the one's that do not read hold or sold. If there is not one you like in the litter you are picking from then you may opt to move to another Mother's list as long as she has an open spot(available spot) at the time. I can not move you to a Mother's waiting list that reads full, regardless of when you sent in your deposit. Where you pick and where you see your name is where you will stay unless you tell me you would like to move to another "available" spot. No one will loss their spot because another family likes the colors better in the next litter.....this is just not fair.
It is not about color. Each mother has a write-up on her and pictures of past pups so everyone gets an ideal of what each mother can have. If you have further questions that are not answere on a certain Mother then e-mail us before you make your pick.

*Once you decide on your pup then full payment is to be received by us with in
a week from you deciding (all pups must be paid for however before they leave here). This is so we know for sure that this pup is SOLD.
Payment Methods will be given once families have decided on a pup.
If you decide to use paypal or a credit card then there is a 3% service charge added onto the total being sent.

All families filling out an application must read our policy first before commiting to one of our pups. This policy is set forth by Wild Wood Acres with no bias or exceptions to these rules. We trust that all read through this policy and know of our restrictions and rules before sending in a deposit. Any families not seeing their names on a waiting list must report to us. Families have 18 month to decide on a pup before applications are voided and deposits are
non-refundable.

Note: everything has to have rules in order to run smoothly and for us it is all about being fair to everyone including ourselves. I spend a lot of time answering e-mails and making sure all pups are well taken care of.

life of your dog.
